ABOUT ME

Born in Lancashire and educated in Scotland, I'm now based both in Battersea, South West London and on the south coast near Chichester.

After several years working in the city, I decided to give up everything to follow my passion for photography. I began working as a photographer after training at the London College of Printing and have never looked back.

I use the camera to bring faces to life, whether capturing an intimate moment in time, a babies first smile, a toddlers first steps, the small details of our childhood, or capturing the spirit of a dynamic business team, or the charisma of a strong CEO.

Every picture tells a different story and every client has different needs so I tailor my service to meet them. I work with you to pinpoint the style that suits, be it a studio portrait, an office shoot portraying the culture of a company, dynamic shots at a business meeting or a location shoot to capture a families love of the outdoors at their favorite beach or park.

WHAT TO EXPECT

CHILDREN, BABIES AND FAMILY

Planning is everything when attention spans are short, so I like to discuss the type of shot's and style you're looking for in advance.

It works well if you have a variety of outfits to hand. Hats, scarves, sunglasses are always fun, be as creative as you like. I'm happy to include the things they love too, favorite toys, bikes, boats, pets, spiders, snails...siblings, parents...Sessions are relaxed and fun. Whilst I normally like to take about 2 hours, I'm very flexible and like to give the kids plenty of little breaks for play and rest and I'm happy to work around young babies nap and feeding times.

Studio sessions can be at my home or yours, outdoor sessions anywhere you like, in your home, your garden, at the local park, on walks, in woods or even at the beach.

BUMPS

Having the final stage of your pregnancy photographed is a very intimate occasion. For that reason I usually come to your home, where you feel more comfortable. I can work with you to capture your bump in its full naked glory or photograph you in your favorite comfy clothes, in you favorite armchair or sofa.

FURRY FRIENDS

Having my own motley collection of cats and dogs at home, I understand how precious these extra members of our family are. I will work with you and a variety of toys, games and titbits to capture their unique personalities. Check out the gallery for some of my favorites. And feel free to team up with a friend as I'm happy to fit more than one animal into a session.

CORPORATE

The first impression of both you and your business is hugely important and in an increasingly image led society it is critical to get it right. Body language, clothing and demeanor are all evaluated by the viewer in the first three seconds, but the assumptions made about you as individuals and about your corporate values are long lasting.

It is key to me that I understand your business culture and the image you and your business want to portray as this will impact on the composition and style of the image as well as its setting. This can be done over the phone, or often, with a face to fce meeting at your offices with our marketing/PR team. I work on a full day and half day fixed rate. I recognize your time is precious and am therefore never late.
